Summary

Second Dinner is seeking a talented and passionate Concept Artist/illustrator intern for their 2025 internship class. The intern will create concept art, collaborate with the creative team, and ensure timely completion of concepts while maintaining visual consistency with the game's direction.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of concept art skills, including character design, environment design, and props
• Proficiency in industry-standard art tools such as Photoshop, SketchUp, or similar software
• Solid understanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take constructive feedback
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate artistic ideas and concepts
• Currently enrolled at a university or college and returning there after this internship
• Eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality concept art that communicates visual ideas for assets, characters, environments, and other elements of the game
• Collaborate with the creative team, product team, and game designers to understand project requirements and artistic direction
• Develop and iterate on design concepts based on feedback and evolving project needs
• Produce concept sketches, paintings, and other visual materials to explore and define the look and feel of SNAP
• Maintain visual consistency that aligns with the visual direction of SNAP
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance the overall vision of the game

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 3D modeling and texturing
• Familiarity with Unity
• Familiarity with the Marvel I.P. and Universe
