Summary
Join our team as a Construction Admin Architect supporting construction administration for tenant improvement (TI) projects! This role centers on reviewing and processing submittals and RFIs, coordinating with contractors and internal teams to ensure projects align with design intent and client standards. You will maintain accurate records, attend meetings, and assist with site visits. The position requires contributing to all design phases, ensuring projects meet code and client requirements, and providing weekly reports. This is a permanent work-from-home position offering weekly paychecks, fixed weekends off, and various benefits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field
- Registered Architect
- 6+ years of experience in architecture, with at least 4 years in construction administration preferred
- Familiarity with tenant improvement projects and commercial interiors
- Proficient in reviewing submittals, shop drawings, and understanding construction documents
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Able to handle several projects at the same time and meet deadlines without prompting from others
- Working knowledge of Revit, Bluebeam, and project management software
- Experience with Procore or similar Construction Management Software
- Amenable to work during U.S. business working hours
Responsibilities
- Review and process submittals and shop drawings for architectural compliance
- Respond to RFIs in coordination with the project team
- Maintain accurate records of CA documentation (logs, responses, approvals)
- Attend regular OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings as needed
- Coordinate with consultants and internal staff on CA-related issues
- Assist with in-office employees with punch walks, site visits, and observation reports when required
- Ensure TI projects meet code and client requirements during the construction phase
- Contributes to all phases of design, assisting development of design through the life of a project, including design focused renderings and/or technical drawings
- File all necessary documentation for CA phase
- Provide weekly report as to items completed and pending
