Summary

Requirements

  • Proven Experience: 8+ years of experience in content creation, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or director role. Experience in managing large-scale content projects and teams is essential
  • Healthcare Experience: Strong track record of developing content to support healthcare communication initiatives, especially practitioners. Expertise in key aspects of how health systems and practices manage the business of medicine is a must
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to develop and implement strategic content plans that align with business objectives
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and persuasive content
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing content performance metrics and using data to drive decision-making and strategy adjustments
  • Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring, and motivating a team. Ability to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Creativity and Innovation: A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and innovative content solutions

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Content Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our brand vision and business objectives
  • Lead Content Creation: Oversee the development of editorial calendar and high-quality content assets for PatientPoint programs place-based in offices to be seen by busy office staff. Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging
  • Team Management: Lead a team of content editors. Provide guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities to team members
  • Collaboration and Alignment: Work closely with marketing, product, and design teams to ensure content supports broader company initiatives and maintains consistency across all touchpoints. In particular, be a versatile player who can think through key idea and benefits of campaigns from both the needs of the patient and physician audience
  • Content Optimization: Monitor and analyze content performance using outcome metrics or research initiatives. Utilize insights to refine strategies and improve content effectiveness
  • Budget Management: Manage content budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Industry Trends and Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content marketing. Drive innovation and incorporate new ideas into content strategies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications is a plus
  • Industry Experience: Experience in digital signage content development is advantageous
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), taxonomies, and digital marketing tools
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing diverse content formats and successful projects
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and challenges
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with stakeholders
