Summary

Join Khan Academy as a passionate and dedicated Content Fellow for Professional Learning in Biology, responsible for developing top-tier biology instructional materials for middle and high school courses. Requirements

• 10+ years of experience teaching Biology in a 9-12 and or 6-8 setting
• 3+ years of experience in developing high-quality Biology professional development resources
• Deep knowledge of science concepts in middle and high school Biology
• Experience using Khan Academy in the classroom with students
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills - ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, from start to finish
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
• Strong technology skills including ed-tech tools, video recording software, live video-conferencing tools, & Google Workplace tools
• Ability to work remotely

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with science content creators to create teacher-facing instructional resources for Khan Academy courses (eg lesson plans, unit guides, activities, implementation strategies)
• Develop high-quality resources to support learning in science classrooms
