Summary
Join PointClickCare as a Content Writer and contribute to a consistent, relevant, and valuable content experience for our customers. You will focus on sustaining established products, ensuring accurate customer communications and product content reflecting feature enhancements and changes. Collaborate with Product Leaders and Engineers to create UI content, customer-facing assessments, and forms. Manage the content release calendar and technical help files, overseeing the Help Center and Resource Hub. This is a 6-month contract position offering a competitive salary and benefits package. Requirements
- Content Writing background in a product-focused environment
- An education/training background, or a bachelor’s degree in English, UX writing, technical communications, or journalism
- Experience writing and structuring language to respond to audience needs, technical communications, instructional, and UX writing
- Understand how to structure language in both XML and JSON formats
- Worked in authoring and publishing content management systems (CCMS)
- Background working in agile development with cross-functional teams including Product Management, and Engineers
- Self-directed and effective working independently and when cooperating with cross functional teams as well as excellent communication and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Provide our customers with a consistent, relevant, and valuable content experience while they engage with our software
- Sustain products that are already established in the market, ensuring that customer communications and product content accurately capture any feature enhancements or changes
- Write in-app communications for all product releases, regulatory updates, and sunsetting products
- Collaborate with Product Leaders and Engineers to write UI content for sustaining product updates
- Craft dialog boxes, microcopy, ghost text, labels, button copy, and toast/snackbar messages
- Create customer-facing assessments and forms using a Content Management System (CMS)
- Write in XML format
- Ensure the content is optimized for publishing to our product for customer use
- Manage the content release calendar
- Write the technical help files
- Oversee the Help Center, Resource Hub, and the Help File build process, including QA, deployment, and release
Preferred Qualifications
- Domain and industry knowledge
- Previous PointClickCare and/or EHR equivalent software experience
- Knowledgeable in Paligo, Pendo, Jira, Aha!, Figma, Miro, Smartsheet
- A portfolio of work you have done. Including instructional documentation
