Contract Attorney

Summary

Join Roll Law Group PC, the captive law firm for The Wonderful Company, as a Contract Litigation Attorney! This remote position, requiring Pacific Time availability, offers a 2–3 month initial assignment with potential extension. You will support a team of litigators, managing daily litigation and providing legal counsel across various business sectors. The ideal candidate possesses at least four years of litigation experience, a JD from an accredited law school, and strong California law knowledge. Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential for success in this fast-paced environment. This is a contract position with an hourly pay range of $100-$175.

Requirements

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience practicing litigation in a top-tier U.S. law firm
• JD from an accredited law school
• Strong knowledge of California procedural and substantive law
• Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written skills
• Participate independently in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines, requiring responsiveness and availability during work hours
• Member in good standing of California State Bar

Responsibilities

• Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and all types of discovery
• Conduct legal research and analysis regarding a broad range of legal matters, including those involving tort or contract issues, intellectual property issues, U.S. food and beverage regulatory matters, commercial disputes, and labor and employment matters, among others
