Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a high-volume contract environment, preferably in professional services, technology, or corporate legal departments
- Strong understanding of contract law, risk mitigation, and negotiation strategies
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts that protect the company's interests while enabling business growth
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with business and legal teams
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting, with availability during EST hours
Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including client and partnership agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, and service agreements
- Ensure all contracts align with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
- Identify potential legal and business risks in contracts and propose solutions to mitigate them
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to balance business needs with legal protections
- Maintain and organize a contract management system to track contract status, renewals, and compliance requirements
- Assist in developing and implementing contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidelines
- Provide legal support on contract-related disputes and escalations as needed
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting contractual agreements
- Support ad-hoc legal and compliance projects as required
