Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience as a Controller
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and audit experience (Big 4 preferred)
• Experience with multi-location, multi-channel, and international business environments
• Proficiency in NetSuite and experience condensing the month-end close process
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing accounting team
• Oversee the annual audit process and ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards (GAAP) and regulations
• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring its efficiency and accuracy with a focus on a condensed timeline
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize accounting operations and enhance efficiency
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations
• Manage accounting for multiple subsidiaries, channels, and locations, including international operations
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including budget vs. actual analysis and variance explanations
• Manage cash flow and forecasting
• Play a key role in the implementation and management of NetSuite
• Identify and implement accounting tools to streamline processes, including reconciliations and close procedures
