Summary

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience as a controller with a focus in revenue cycle management, and at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in ABA, at minimum in mental healthcare services
- Understanding of correct coding principles CPT/HCSPCS and modifier selection as well as CCI edits and billing guidelines
- Proficient in using RCM software and financial management systems, Central Reach preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes, billing procedures, and compliance requirements
- A strong process thinker with an ability to translate complex operations into a clear and easily understandable process
- Multi-site and multi-state experience required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a small team of FPA analysts, accountants, payroll specialists, and revenue cycle managers
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture focused on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Provide guidance and support to team members to help them achieve their professional development goals
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
- Monitor financial performance against budget and provide regular reports to the Senior Leadership Team
- Manage a Revenue Cycle Manager and team responsible for overseeing the revenue cycle management process, including billing, collections, and reimbursement analysis
- Optimize revenue cycle workflows to maximize collections and minimize revenue leakage
- Stay current with changes in healthcare regulations and reimbursement policies to ensure compliance and maximize revenue opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including GAAP, HIPAA, and other industry-specific requirements
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective internal controls and risk management strategies
- Partner with senior department leadership to develop and execute strategic financial plans that support the organization's growth objectives
- Evaluate financial performance and identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and process improvement
