You will play a crucial role in ensuring robust Level 1 Controls, safeguarding against risks, and driving continuous improvement in back-office reconciliation processes. Working closely with a team, you will develop expertise in reconciliation, maintain internal controls, analyze control data, proactively improve processes, and collaborate with stakeholders. Requirements

• Experience: You have at least 2 years of experience related to control or reconciliation in a bank institution or Fintech
• Mastery: You have extensive knowledge of banking operations, including transfers, direct debits, and card transactions
• Analytical skills: your analytical skills are second to none, and you're driven by a natural curiosity to delve into data and processes
• Curious mindset: You are intellectually curious, open-minded, adaptable, a fast learner, and excited by a dynamic startup environment
• Tools: You thrive when using tools like G suite, CBS, Forest, Metabase and communicate effectively via Notion and Slack
• Languages: You are fluent both in French and English

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in the reconciliation process, tailoring it to various payment types
• Maintain and enhance internal control level 1 for banking operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy
• Analyze and recapitulate control data, executing around 30 controls bi-monthly with precision
• Proactively challenge and improve existing processes, fostering a culture of continuous enhancement
• Collaborate with BO teams, Ops engineers, and other stakeholders to streamline operations and enforce guidelines
