Summary
Join TrueTandem as a Microsoft Copilot Readiness Technical Engineer/Architect! You will be responsible for assessing federal clients' technical readiness for Copilot adoption, creating comprehensive roadmaps, and ensuring security and compliance. This role involves leading workshops, collaborating with IT and cybersecurity teams, and developing security policies. You will leverage Microsoft 365 tools like Purview, SharePoint, and Syntex to optimize data governance and mitigate risks. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background, exceptional communication skills, and experience with Microsoft's cloud solutions. This position requires a US citizenship and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Requirements
- Personnel filling this requirement/position must be US citizen
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, specifically with the Microsoft GCC cloud
- Proven experience developing and enforcing usage policies to maintain compliance (GDPR, HIPAA)
- Ability to monitor Copilot access, generate reports, and maintain audit trails
- Exceptional soft skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders and customers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to think strategically about cybersecurity challenges
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, multi-customer environment
- Proven experience implementing the following: Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra’s suite of tools, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft SharePoint, Syntex, and Advanced Services, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), Azure Active Directory, Zero Trust principles
Responsibilities
- Assist federal clients in preparing for the seamless introduction of Microsoft’s AI-enabled Copilot by conducting focused workshops on data safety, effective usage, and adoption
- Facilitate and lead Discovery workshops with clients
- Demonstrate the use of M365 Purview to show data governance health and delve into advanced concepts such as file-level/purview/data classification and information labeling
- Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to develop and enforce security policies and procedures
- Review access and auditing at the site, team, and container levels, and leverage Syntex for advanced management to identify and rectify oversharing scenarios
- Utilize MS Graph to demonstrate potential risks involved in sharing private calendar appointments and other data, providing proven strategies to mitigate them while maximizing utility
- Possess experience with SharePoint search preparation, tenant prerequisites, licensing requirements, and necessary apps and services to fully leverage the Copilot experience
- Establish secure SharePoint permissions, manage Teams memberships, and implement mailbox sharing protocols
- Understand and convey the ethical implications of AI use, such as managing inadvertent data access and potential copyright issues
- Assist clients with persona mapping and various permission models at the tenant, group, and individual levels
- Provide detailed reports and presentations to executive stakeholders, outlining strategies, improvements, and recommendations
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Copilot, offering guidance and support to both technical and non-technical team members
