Summary

Join Taproot Foundation's Advisory Services team as a Corporate Pro Bono Specialist! This part-time, temporary, remote position (20 hours/week, up to 4 months) offers a chance to make a significant impact. You will lead and support 2-3 complex engagements, requiring adept consulting skills and pro bono service understanding. Responsibilities include client relationship management, service delivery, and contributing to internal projects. The ideal candidate possesses at least five years of relevant experience in nonprofit, corporate, consulting, or related sectors, including client management and excellent communication skills. This role provides additional capacity during Taproot's peak season and offers an hourly rate of $36.00.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in the nonprofit, corporate, consulting, and/or other sectors
  • Relevant experience may include but is not limited to professional services, corporate social responsibility, or pro bono program implementation
  • Experience with client or other external stakeholder management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead and or support 2–3 engagements, which may be complex and/or require to be staffed solo by the specialist that require adept consulting skills and an understanding of pro bono service, to ensure coordination and success of engagements are high-impact, occur within the agreed-upon timeline, and stay in scope
  • Support the service delivery of large, complicated, and/or new engagements, as requested
  • Contribute to projects relating to the updating of systems or processes core to AS’s day-to-day operations and/or the organization at large
  • Attend team meetings as requested by the specialist’s supervisor

Benefits

For this role, the hourly rate is $36.00/hour
