Join JMAC Lending as a Loan Setup & Disclosures Specialist! This full-time, remote position focuses on reviewing and facilitating the setup of correspondent loan files for underwriting. You will ensure timely disclosure issuance and compliance adherence throughout the loan process. Key responsibilities include reviewing and preparing initial disclosures, analyzing submission requests, handling change of circumstance redisclosures, and issuing closing disclosures. The ideal candidate possesses at least two years of mortgage experience, Encompass proficiency, and strong communication skills. Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of experience in mortgage-related positions
  • Experience with Encompass is essential
  • Familiarity with TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) guidelines
  • Knowledge of various loan programs including Conventional, Government, Jumbo, and Non-QM
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Skilled in utilizing mortgage loan operating software and systems
  • Strong computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office applications
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for engaging with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks while prioritizing workload to meet deadlines
  • A collaborative spirit with the capability to work effectively in a team and across departments
  • Adaptability to changes in policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Review/Prepare Initial Disclosures
  • Analyze initial disclosures provided by clients to ensure compliance and timing standards are met
  • Draft initial disclosures for client review or issuance to adhere to timing requirements
  • Review Submission Requests
  • Examine loan submission documents for completeness prior to underwriting submission
  • Organize and update the status of submission documents accordingly
  • Identify and add conditions for any missing items at the time of submission
  • Generate a Notice of Incomplete Application for submissions that are lacking necessary information
  • Review and Redisclose Change of Circumstance
  • Assess COC requests to verify their validity and ascertain if redisclosure is necessary
  • Redisclose disclosures in accordance with TRID timing requirements
  • Issue Closing Disclosures
  • Confirm Closing Disclosure requests using the Doc Request Form
  • Engage with clients to gather required documentation for an accurate Closing Disclosure
  • Ensure the Closing Disclosure complies with loan term requirements and regulatory standards
  • Support clients with questions or issues related to disclosures and submissions
  • Guarantee all requests are addressed within required turnaround times, including: Service Level Agreements (SLA), COC requests, and Initial Closing Disclosure requests
  • Oversee pipelines and dashboards to ensure timely completion of all tasks
  • Act as the main point of contact for all inquiries regarding disclosure and submission tasks
  • Other related duties as assigned
