Summary

Join Airtm's Legal team as Counsel, supporting the growing business across various areas including commercial, product, regulatory, licensing, corporate, and compliance matters. Based in EMEA or South Asia, you will be a key player, counseling the organization on high-profile projects. Responsibilities include contract drafting and negotiation, maintaining user terms, reviewing marketing initiatives, assisting with product design, supporting the People team, regulatory research, global licensing, and corporate matters. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience as a qualified lawyer in-house or at a law firm, strong commercial and analytical skills, and fluency in English. This role offers day-one exposure to leadership, a competitive salary, fully remote work, and unlimited PTO.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of related experience working as a qualified lawyer either in-house at a tech or financial/digital assets firm, or at a leading law firm
  • Fluent in English with strong drafting skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Interest or experience in emerging technologies and/or crypto
  • Detail-oriented legal project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing projects to effective resolution

Responsibilities

  • Be a key utility player on the Legal team, counseling the organization on high profile, mission-critical projects across the Company in areas including new partner relationships, growth and marketing, contract management, consumer privacy and regulatory and compliance initiatives
  • Assisting with the drafting and negotiation of contracts with vendors, B2B clients and commercial partners
  • Maintaining and updating Airtm’s user terms
  • Reviewing advertising and marketing initiatives to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, with a particular focus in Latin America
  • Assisting with the design of new products, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Supporting our People team on employment matters
  • Assisting in regulatory research and analysis in the digital assets space
  • Support with global licensing efforts and other strategic regulatory initiatives
  • Supporting the Company on corporate matters including BAU governance, as well as financing and corporate structure projects

Preferred Qualifications

Other languages (especially Spanish) a plus
