This job is for a legal professional to provide comprehensive support related to US monitorship obligations at Binance, a leading global blockchain ecosystem. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, reviewing reports, and ensuring effective responses to ongoing monitoring by the government-appointed monitorship of AML and sanctions compliance programs.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 5-10 years of experience at a reputable global law firm
• In-house experience is a plus
• A proven history in litigation and contentious regulatory matters
• Admitted to practice in at least one U.S. state
• A comprehensive understanding of both AML and sanctions compliance programs
• Robust analytical skills with an eye for detail
• Capable of working proactively in both independent and team environments
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as one of the primary legal points of contact for US monitorship-related matters
• Provide legal guidance and counsel in coordination with cross-functional teams to effectively respond to the ongoing monitoring by the government-appointed monitorship of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and sanctions compliance programs
• Partner closely with cross-functional and regional teams, supporting on complex legal matters of diverse complexity, sensitivity, and significance
• Review and analyze monitorship reports, findings, and recommendations to ensure timely and effective responses
