Creative Designer, Illustrator

Join a dynamic digital media brand and become their Creative Designer / Illustrator. This remote, full-time position requires creating meme-driven t-shirt designs and other merchandise with strong viral potential. You will collaborate with the creative, e-commerce, and social teams to ensure timely product launches. Success in this role demands a deep understanding of internet culture, meme trends, and e-commerce principles. You'll need proficiency in Adobe Suite or Figma and the ability to quickly translate ideas into polished designs. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive salary and additional perks.

Requirements

• Have a deep, intuitive understanding of meme culture—past, present, and future
• Know what’s funny, what’s cringe, and what’s already dead
• Are quick on the draw. Can go from concept to design in hours, not days
• Can take feedback and bounce ideas around with other creatives
• Have experience designing for a social-first brand, creator, or e-commerce business
• Are fluent in Adobe Suite, Figma, or equivalent tools
• Understand what drives clicks, shares, and conversions in e-commerce
• Know how to make something funny and wearable

Responsibilities

• Sit in on brainstorms with our creative team to translate chaotic, hilarious ideas into polished designs
• Conceptualize and execute meme-driven t-shirt designs with strong viral potential
• Roll out designs quickly (sometimes same day) while maintaining quality and attention to detail
• Stay locked into internet culture: meme trends, TikTok sound bites, viral tweets, niche subcultures, and everything in between
• Create strong typographic layouts that pair perfectly with short copy and visual humor
• Design across formats: oversized tees, pocket prints, back graphics, wrap-around styles, and more
• Apply solid knowledge of typography, layout, and color theory to make designs pop on-screen and IRL
• Collaborate closely with the e-commerce and social teams to launch products at the right moment
• Deliver clean, print-ready files for both POD and screen printing setups
• Keep up with streetwear and fashion aesthetics to bring a trend-forward edge to everything you design
