Creative Studio Transportation Planner

Summary

Join Fehr & Peers as an Entry-Level Creative Studio Transportation Planner and bring your passion for transportation and visual design to life. Collaborate with project managers, apply graphic design skills, and transform complex analysis into intuitive visuals for a variety of applications.

Requirements

• Completed bachelor’s or in-process master’s degree in transportation, urban and regional planning, or a related major (e.g., geography, graphic design, UI/UX design)
• Coursework in transportation, engineering, urban and regional planning, geography, math, statistics, economics, or other related courses
• Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Strong visual and written communication skills
• Portfolio demonstrating visual design capabilities (please provide with application)
• Interpersonal skills, a desire to collaborate, and a creative approach to problem-solving
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
• Interest in transportation or urban planning

Responsibilities

• Transform complex transportation analysis into intuitive visuals for a broad range of applications
• Collaborate with project managers to determine the best way to deliver information
• Continually share ideas and examples with colleagues

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in urban planning, urban design, or transportation planning
• Basic understanding of ESRI ArcGIS
• Basic knowledge of 3D visualization, data visualization, illustration, UI/UX design, web design, and/or coding
