As a Credentialing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the clinical staff's credentials without delays. Your responsibilities will include verifying licenses, certifications, education, and work history; directly contacting schools, boards, and certification bodies for confirmation; managing onboarding and re-credentialing processes; ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies; and effectively coordinating between HR, clinical operations, and administration. This remote position offers a competitive salary of $90,000-$110,000 per year. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in credentialing and a strong commitment to efficiency and compliance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in credentialing
  • CPCS cert? That’s a strong yes
  • Willingness to own the process of getting clinicians credentialed quickly and ensuring they feel valued throughout the process and have their needs/questions addressed in a timely manner

Responsibilities

  • Verify licenses, certs, education, and work history
  • Go straight to schools, boards, and cert bodies for confirmation
  • Handle onboarding + re-credentialing with zero gaps
  • Make sure we’re audit-proof and always inspection-ready
  • Lock in compliance with The Joint Commission, NCQA, CMS, and others
  • Bridge HR, clinical ops, and admin without dropping a beat
  • Track every license and renewal like clockwork
