Cryptography Engineer

Summary

The job is for a position at p0x labs, a group developing privacy solutions for web3 applications using zero-knowledge proofs. The candidate should have a strong background in Math/Cryptography, experience with state-of-the-art zero knowledge proof systems, proficiency in C/C++/Rust, excellent English communication skills, and a passion for the Web3 industry.

Requirements

• Strong background in Math/Cryptography (e.g., degrees in Math/Physics/Computer Science from elite universities)
• Experience in state-of-the-art zero knowledge proof systems such as Groth16, Plonk, Halo2, Nova
• Experience in implementing cryptographic constructions and familiarity with various common attacks
• Proficient in C/C++/Rust
• Excellent oral English and communication skills
• Passionate about the Web3 industry
• Extreme ownership mentality - able to take responsibilities and ship secure code in a timely manner

Responsibilities

Build privacy-preserving solutions using zero-knowledge proofs

Preferred Qualifications

• Speciality in elliptic curve cryptography
• Speciality in zero-knowledge proof systems and multi-party computation
• Publications in top tier cryptography or security conference such as Crypto/EuroCrypto/Financial Crypto/CCS/Usenix Security
