You will answer coverage inquiries, process policy changes, handle concerns, build trust with members, apply underwriting standards, maintain accurate records, and stay informed about industry developments. The ideal candidate will possess a RIBO license (or be willing to obtain one within three months), complete specific insurance courses, and have experience in personal lines insurance. Requirements
- A RIBO license is required
- Candidates who are not yet RIBO licensed will be enrolled in the RIBO training course and will be required to obtain their license within the first three months of employment
- The completion of or the commitment to complete the following three insurance courses or three equivalent insurance courses: CIP Principles and Practice, Property 1, and Automobile
Responsibilities
- Answer coverage inquiries, process policy changes, and ensure our members receive personalized, professional service every step of the way
- Handle concerns with care and professionalism - assessing issues, identifying solutions, and delivering resolutions that leave a lasting positive impression
- Build trust and connections by providing valuable insights into our insurance products and services, helping members make informed coverage decisions while identifying opportunities for growth
- Apply underwriting standards, assess risk, and ensure policies align with binding requirements - all while maintaining compliance with industry regulations
- Process rewrites, maintain accurate records, and ensure all insurance transactions are efficiently documented and up to date
- Work in a supportive, learning-focused environment where you'll collaborate with management, flag key issues, and stay ahead of industry developments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in personal lines automobile and property insurance is an asset
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications
