Join Planet as a Customer Success Manager and cultivate strong relationships with commercial customers in agriculture, insurance, and energy sectors. Maximize the value of Planetβs geospatial solutions by helping customers integrate Planet data into their workflows. Become a trusted advisor, keeping customers informed about product updates and industry trends. Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with sales teams. Act as the voice of the customer, advocating for product improvements. This full-time, remote position, based in Europe, requires 4+ years of experience in customer success or account management and a good working knowledge of remote sensing and GIS. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and with international teams.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Customer Success, account management or similar
- Good working knowledge of remote sensing, GIS or geospatial imagery products
- Excellent technical background, experience with remote sensing platforms and solutions
- Ability to successfully communicate and coordinate with international customers & sales teams
- Solid problem solving skills, proactive work style and ability to work independently
- Ability to partner with leading global companies on scaling innovative technologies, understanding industry workflows and needs
- Experience in earth observation and related fields
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Willingness to travel
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government customers, ensuring they achieve their mission objectives using Planetβs products
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with sales teams to drive renewals and upsells
- Work closely with customers to facilitate training, onboarding, and best practices on integrating Planet data into GIS and remote sensing workflows
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for feature enhancements and product improvements based on feedback
- Work closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to support customer needs, case studies, and events
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to share insights on the current status of key accounts and contribute to the development of strategies for future success
Preferred Qualifications
- Working proficiency in another European language
- 2+ years of technical experience working in GIS or remote sensing
