Summary
Join ModSquad as a fully remote Customer Support Representative, providing exceptional service to customers of a top music streaming service. This role requires responding to inbound messages in Japanese. Successful candidates will complete language assessments in both Japanese and English. The position demands a 40-hour workweek during an 8-week orientation, followed by a flexible schedule within a daily 7 AM to 10 PM window. Project commitments include 25 hours per week, with 8 hours required on a weekend day, for a total of 180 days. Applicants must demonstrate strong customer service skills and proficiency in Japanese and English.
Requirements
- Complete language assessments in Japanese and English
- Have experience providing Customer Support via inbound web messages
- Be professional/business level proficient in Japanese and English
- Have a dedicated laptop or desktop computer with Windows 10 or above
- Be willing to install MSQ security software and 2FA app on your mobile device
- Have access to a webcam or smartphone capable of taking pictures
- Have a stable broadband internet connection of 25 MBS or greater
- Have 8 GB RAM or better
- Work 40 hours per week during the 8-week orientation period
- Work 25 hours per week during project commitments
- Work 8 hours on Saturday and/or Sunday during project commitments
- Work 180 days (as needed by ModSquad) during project commitments
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via inbound messages in Japanese
- Provide exceptional Customer Support and quickly identify customer issues
- Provide web messaging support to 3-5 customers simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Have dual monitors
- Strong desire to create a unique experience for each individual customer
