Summary

Join Gambling.com Group, a multi-award-winning provider of marketing and sports data services, as a Cyber Security Engineer. This role requires monthly attendance at the Malta office but offers a majority remote-first hybrid work model. You will design, implement, and manage security systems for complex IT environments, leveraging your expertise in cloud security, Active Directory, Crowdstrike, and ISO27001 compliance. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of networking and systems, experience with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and excellent communication skills. Requirements

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering
  • Strong understanding of networking and systems (virtual, cloud) and their associated cybersecurity best practices, tools, and processes
  • Experience with Active Directory and IAM technologie
  • Linux (Production Workloads), Mac, Windows
  • Proficiency in Crowdstrike endpoint security solutions
  • Experience with implementing AV, EDR solutions, including monitoring and reporting
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools
  • Experience with internal audit processes and ISO27001 compliance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain security solutions for our cloud infrastructure, including AWS and Azure
  • Manage Active Directory security and implement identity and access management (IAM) policies
  • Deploy and configure Crowdstrike endpoint security solutions
  • Collaborate with corporate IT and infrastructure teams to implement and optimise the organisation's cybersecurity tools and capabilities
  • Ensure the proactive development and maintenance of cybersecurity monitoring and support solutions
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
  • Investigate security incidents and remediate vulnerabilities
  • Participate in the ongoing enhancement of cybersecurity procedures, instruments, and records
  • Participate in internal audit processes and ensure compliance with ISO27001
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends
  • Additional tasks as designated

  • Experience with Microsoft Security & Compliance Center

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Passion for information security and continuous learning
  • Knowledge and working experience with a SIEM
