Summary

Join Experian's Cyber Fusion Centre (CFC) as a Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) All-Source Analyst. Contribute to the All-Source Analyst Team (ASAT), focusing on cybercrime research using various intelligence sources. You will create intelligence products informing cyber threat defense and mitigation. The role involves using open and closed-source intelligence tools, contributing to cross-team projects, investigating cyber trends, and authoring intelligence reports. This remote position requires daily attendance at a 9 am EST meeting, but otherwise offers flexible hours. The role reports to the Director of Threat Intelligence.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of prior work experience in cybersecurity or threat intelligence fields
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English, with experience explaining technical concepts to different audiences both verbally and in writing
  • Familiarity with structured analytical techniques and common frameworks such as the Cyber Kill Chain Model, Diamond Model, or MITRE ATT&CK Matrix, applying these methodologies during intelligence gathering and analysis activities
  • Experience producing repeatable and defensible analysis while being aware of personal biases and limitations

Responsibilities

  • Use open and closed source intelligence tools to track threat clusters posing threats to Experian and help identify preventative measures to improve our defense
  • Contribute to cross-team projects to improve the security posture of Experian infrastructure, such as red team operations, Attack Surface Management and Threat Hunting collaborations
  • Help Investigate, mitigate, and forecast new cyber trends and provide suggestions to different types of audiences
  • Author periodic intelligence reports and help produce technical, operational, and strategic intelligence reports

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coding or scripting experience in one or more languages such as Python
  • Alternatively, familiarity with Microsoft automation tools such as Power Platform and PowerBI
  • Experience identifying areas of improvement for the team and providing constructive feedback to coworkers
