Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business Administration, or a related field
- Relevant CyberArk certifications (e.g., CyberArk Certified Trustee, CyberArk Defender) are required
- Proven hands-on experience with the deployment and administration of CyberArk solutions in regulated, enterprise environments
- Demonstrated experience in IT security, particularly in privileged access management
- Prior consulting or strategic advisory experience in cybersecurity or IT management, preferably within the federal space
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale security projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities to develop and deliver actionable recommendations
- Proven experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and change management within a consulting context
- Ability to translate technical findings into business impacts and strategic initiatives
- Deep expertise in CyberArk product suite (e.g., PVWA, CPM, PSM) and its integration with enterprise systems
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, databases, network security protocols, and cybersecurity frameworks
- Proficiency in scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to streamline security processes
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and after-hours support as needed
- A proactive approach to staying current with emerging cybersecurity threats, evolving technologies, and federal regulatory changes
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain CyberArk solutions (e.g., Privileged Access Security suite) in accordance with federal guidelines
- Perform system upgrades, apply patches, and tune performance to ensure secure and reliable operations
- Integrate CyberArk with existing enterprise systems and security tools
- Develop and enforce policies for privileged account management that comply with federal cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA)
- Monitor and analyze security events to quickly detect and remediate vulnerabilities or incidents
- Prepare detailed documentation and reports to support internal and external audits
- Provide hands-on technical support for CyberArk-related issues, conducting root cause analysis and prompt resolution
- Lead cross-functional teams in troubleshooting complex technical challenges and implementing corrective actions
- Act as a trusted advisor to federal IT and security leadership, delivering strategic guidance on cybersecurity best practices and risk management
- Conduct assessments of current IT environments to identify gaps and opportunities for enhanced privileged access management
- Develop roadmaps and business cases for CyberArk initiatives, aligning them with broader organizational and regulatory objectives
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and executive briefings to promote understanding and adoption of CyberArk solutions and cybersecurity strategies
- Lead and manage cybersecurity projects involving CyberArk deployments, ensuring clear timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and federal stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation of security initiatives
- Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior management, adapting plans as necessary based on evolving threats and regulatory requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Management or consulting certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, or equivalent) are a plus
- Active federal security clearance may be required
