Summary

The job is for a Dynamics 365 Business Central Implementer/Consultant with at least 3 years of experience. The role involves implementing and supporting Dynamics 365 Business Central, collaborating with clients, configuring and customizing the software, developing custom extensions, integrating it with third-party applications, testing and troubleshooting, providing support, conducting training sessions, and participating in pre-sales activities. The preferred qualifications include relevant Microsoft certifications, experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and project management methodologies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience implementing or supporting Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes
  • Solid experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central ALL modules
  • Experience of SMB ERP/Financial Systems such as Xero, Pronto or MYOB
  • Previous Business Analyst and Support experience
  • Proven experience with the full Business Central application lifecycle, including implementation, configuration, and customization
  • Strong understanding of core Business Central modules (Financials, Supply Chain Management, etc.)
  • Solid experience with AL development language

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications
  • Understand user requirements and document technical specifications for development
  • Configure and customize Dynamics 365 Business Central to meet client needs
  • Develop and implement custom extensions using AL language to bridge functionality gaps
  • Integrate Business Central with third-party applications to create a seamless user experience
  • Configure security settings and manage user access controls
  • Test and troubleshoot system functionality to ensure smooth operation
  • Produce functional and technical specification documentation and perform UAT
  • Adept testing know-how to coordinate and implement new system releases
  • Assist with systems improvements including enhancements, upgrades, and integrations
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd-tier support on the Dynamics 365 Business Central application
  • Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure successful project delivery
  • Lead and support key business streams in Business Central Implementations
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure optimal productivity
  • Maintain relationships with external vendors for existing and new solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working for a Microsoft Partner or similar IT consultancy is highly preferred
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MB-800, MB-901)
  • Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV
  • Experience with project management methodologies
  • Experience with integration tools and technologies
