D365 F&O Sr. Functional Finance Consultant

Summary

The job involves providing business consultancy to clients for D365 F&O projects, leading discussions during project design meetings, implementing and configuring financial modules, defining functional requirements, performing advanced configuration and customization, organizing communication between teams, identifying opportunities for improvement, and training users. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, 4+ years of experience as a D365FO Finance Consultant, expertise in writing functional specification, gap documents, and training materials, Microsoft D365FO Financials certification, and flexibility to travel. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, CPA highly desired
• 4+ years experience as a D365FO Finance Consultant
• Experience participating in all stages of multiple D365FO implementation projects
• Successfully implemented the following modules: General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank and Cash Management, Management Reporter/FRx, Project Accounting
• Expertise in writing functional specification, gap document and training materials
• Ability to organize and managed the resources during the Testing phase
• Ability to triage and fix bugs/issues and utilize MS provided technical resources
• Microsoft D365FO Financials certification
• Flexibility to travel as the needs of clients and our business dictate

Responsibilities

• Provide business and application consultancy to our clients
• Lead discussions with the client and project teams during the Project Design meetings
• Implement and configure financial modules of D365 for Finance and Operations
• Carry out prototyping plans, procedure documentation and communicate with project team
• Define D365FO functional requirement and design documents that developers can use for enhancements
• Perform advanced configuration and customization of the Dynamics 365 solution
• Organizes the communication between the test teams and technical/functional resources for resolution
• Use provided methodologies to deliver successful projects
• Identify opportunities to improve the use of the solution
• Train power users and end users on efficient use of the solution, share ‘tips and tricks’
• Travel to client-site when necessary
