Data Acquisitions Associate

Summary

Join Genomenon, a leading genomics software company, as a part-time Data Analyst working up to 20 hours per week. This fully remote position, based near Fort Wayne, IN, requires travel to a local university. You will use internal tools to organize genomic data for database development, independently complete projects, and contribute to team objectives. Requirements

• Excellent organizational skills and personal accountability
• Basic experience with command line scripting and knowledge of Excel
• Computer programming or computer science background
• Able to work independently with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Self-motivator with strong work ethic and a “can-do” positive attitude
• Desire to be a part of a fast-paced, high-energy entrepreneurial experience
• Ability to drive to and from a local university, with an active driver's license

Responsibilities

• Use custom designed internal tools to identify and organize content for database development
• Independently complete projects to deliver customer-specific datasets
• Perform other duties as required to help the Genomenon team achieve its objectives
