Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 6 years focused on data engineering and data science
- Strong Python skills and hands-on experience building reliable ETL/ELT pipelines
- Solid knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and/or natural language processing
- Experience with relational and non-relational database systems, like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch or ClickHouse
- A working understanding of LLMs - how to fine-tune, prompt, evaluate, and apply them in production
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, and the DevOps mindset to own what you build
- An experimental, iterative approach - you test, learn, and improve fast
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in cross-functional teams
- Fluent English
Responsibilities
- Designing, building, and operating AI-powered features using a mix of external services and in-house ML models
- Applying techniques like clustering, classification, forecasting, and semantic analysis to extract meaningful insights from text and structured data
- Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to turn insights into user-facing features
- Designing APIs and data services that deliver insights at scale across our SaaS platform
- Taking part in product discovery and architectural decisions from the very beginning
- Sharing your expertise and mentoring others across data, engineering, and product teams
Preferred Qualifications
- A strong cross-disciplinary thinker, comfortable navigating between the different technology layers of a solution
- Experienced building data products and APIs used in customer-facing applications
- Hands-on experience building BI dashboards with tools like Tableau, Looker, or similar
- Someone who brings a product mindset to data work, prioritizing user impact and usability
- Experienced in defining and tracking metrics that measure data quality, user engagement, and business impact
