Summary
The job is for a Data Analyst at Bestpass β Fleetworthy. The role involves building dashboards and analytics, data collection, organization, management, and storage, creating reports and dashboards, troubleshooting, communicating with stakeholders, and providing technical expertise in data storage structures.
Requirements
- Familiarity with data modeling β relational (3NF) and dimensional
- Understand how to query and handle large, diverse datasets
- ETL and ELT
- Proficiency in T-SQL and Python
- Familiarity with Dashboarding software (Tableau, Power BI, Sisense, etc.)and the purpose they serve
- Troubleshooting, critical thinking, and solution building
- Communicating data and requirements to non-technical stakeholders, and understanding non-technical stakeholdersβ needs to gather requirement
- MS Access, MS Excel, and VBA
- Salesforce
- SSIS and SSRS
- Git and code review
- Containerization
- Bachelorβs degree in a STEM field or equivalent work experience
- Authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Build dashboards and analytics from core software products
- Create solutions for collecting, collating, and storing data from internal and external sources
- Build simple user interfaces when necessary
- Create repeatable and ad hoc reports or data extracts to serve business needs
- Develop and generate reports and dashboards from single or multiple systems
- Develop, automate, and maintain data collection, organization, management, and storage for ad hoc and/or repeated use
- Extract and transform data from internal systems as well as client and vendor data sets for inclusion in the data warehouse, reports, and dashboards
- Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports and communicate with appropriate teams to remedy issues when needed
- Process confidential data and information according to established guidelines
- Manage and maintain the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata
- Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization
- Evaluate changes and updates to source production systems
- Document new reports and dashboards and changes to each
- Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing
- Visualize data to be digestible to stakeholders
- Create and maintain simple UIs for data requests and uploads
- Train end-users and present new features and findings

Some travel for onsite meetings or client visits (5-10%)
