Join Furnished Quarters, a privately owned company in the short-term housing industry, as a Data Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for turning large volumes of data into actionable business insights that drive decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus
• Experience with SQL databases and data extraction techniques is required
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with acute attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven experience developing data models and segmenting data for detailed analysis
• Understanding of statistics and experience using statistical packages (Excel, R, SPSS, or similar) for analyzing datasets
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data analyst role, with demonstrated ability to use data analysis to drive critical business decisions
• Skilled in assessing and deploying the most suitable data analysis technologies, including BI tools, data visualization platforms, and custom solutions
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing data infrastructure and technology solutions across various platforms

Responsibilities

• Use advanced statistical methods to analyze complex data sets and generate reports that are clear, accurate, and actionable for business stakeholders
• Design, build, and deploy custom AI and machine learning models to solve complex business problems
• Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and recommend data-driven improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Work with management and departmental teams to gather data requirements and prioritize analytics initiatives that address critical business objectives
• Provide recommendations based on data analysis to support business growth and operational improvements
• Create data models and visualizations that depict trends and patterns in customer behavior, market activity, and internal operations
• Develop and implement systems for collecting, cleaning, and maintaining data from multiple sources
• Manage and maintain databases, ensuring data is organized, accessible, and optimized for analysis
• Review data regularly for inconsistencies, errors, or anomalies
• Stay current with the latest data analytics trends, tools, and methodologies
• Design and deliver essential KPIs and performance dashboards for leadership, providing clear insights into business health and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with software development teams to create and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure that ensure smooth data flow between systems
• Develop automated systems to streamline data collection, transformation, and reporting
• Train business leaders and teams to ensure they can effectively interpret and utilize data insights for decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience mentoring others in data analysis techniques is highly valued
• Strong proficiency in various data analysis and visualization tools, including Retool, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
