Summary
Join our team as a Data Analyst/Report Writer 3! This is a fully remote position located in TX and lasting up to six months. As a Power BI developer, you will build complex dimensional data models and reports, visualize data stories, collaborate on agency-wide data solutions, and develop data visualization solutions. This role requires 4+ years of experience and involves independent work on complicated tasks, potentially leading others. Creativity and initiative are highly valued. The position requires mastery in data analytics and experience with Power BI, including creating dashboards and interactive reports, and developing and deploying Power BI scripts using Python, M, and DAX. Preferred qualifications include experience with source control (Git/BitBucket), SAS, Jira, state government work, and other BI tools (SAP, Tableau).
Requirements
- 4 or more years of experience
- Mastery in data analytics
- Using Power BI creating dashboards and interactive visual reports
- Create, test, and deploy Power BI Scripts (Python,M and DAX) as well as execute efficient deep analysis
Responsibilities
- Build complex dimensional data models and reports from the bottom up
- Visualize compelling data stories on the report canvas
- Collaborate with other teams to engineer revolutionary agency-wide data solutions
- Develop and implement data visualization solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in data-related tasks
- Previous experience with Source Control, Git/BitBucket
- Previous experience with SAS and its dataset (.sas7bdat)
- Previous experience with Jira
- Previous state experience
- Previous experience with BI tools ( SAP, Tableau)
