Data Analyst/Specialist

Requirements

• Have experience working with large datasets and databases
• Have previous experience obtained through work, school work or internship
• Have knowledge in machine learning algorithms and techniques
• Have experience with Excel sheets, Google sheets, Data analytics, & AI
• Possess a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field
• Be familiar with data visualization tools like Tableau, Microsoft Power BI etc
• Be familiar with data manipulation libraries

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Create weekly and monthly reports delivered via google spreadsheets
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies
• Assist in the development of algorithms and models to use in data analysis
• Develop reports and visualizations to effectively communicate data-driven insights to the teams in the organization
• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
• Capture opportunity data for all sources (leads, master contracts, publicly available, etc.)

• Ability to interpret and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Familiarity with current Data related technologies
