You will be involved in the entire data lifecycle, from designing and developing data pipelines to optimizing them. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or in a data-oriented software engineering role
  • 3+ years of experience using SQL
  • Significant experience with at least one visualization tool for building semantic layers or dashboards (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Fluency in English
  • 2+ years of experience with dbt
  • 2+ years of experience designing and provisioning data systems, including pipelines and database schemas and/or data lake tables
  • Experience in a SaaS environment, ideally with metrics relevant to customer success
  • Experience with data warehousing solutions such as BigQuery or similar
  • Strong understanding of data security and privacy best practices

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain robust and efficient data pipelines, ensuring data quality, reliability, and scalability
  • Design and implement data models optimized for analytical queries and reporting, leveraging best practices for data warehousing and dimensional modeling
  • Transform and prepare data for analysis by data analysts and data scientists, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to provide key business insights to various stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements
  • Develop and maintain clear and comprehensive data documentation to facilitate understanding and collaboration
  • Optimize data pipelines and queries for performance and efficiency, ensuring scalability as data volumes grow
  • Explore and implement new data engineering and analytics technologies to enhance our data infrastructure
