Data Analytics Engineer

Summary

Requirements

• A can-do attitude, a passion for learning, and a creative approach to solving complex problems
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in the gaming industry
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL with an understanding of relational and NoSQL database concepts and query optimization techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation
• Experience working with large-scale datasets using technologies such as BigQuery/Redshift/Snowflake, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, define metrics, and develop dashboards and reports to monitor game performance and player behavior
• Maintain, develop and design scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and analyze large volumes of game-related data
• Optimize and tune SQL queries for performance and efficiency to support real-time and batch processing requirements
• Perform analysis of game telemetry data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization and monetization
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data engineering, analytics, and gaming

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with mobile game datasets or a strong interest in gaming is a plus
