Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a related technical role, with strong proficiency in enterprise architecture, data and software engineering
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data architectures in cloud environments (e.g., GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Deep understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and modern data stack tools (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, Fivetran, Looker)
- Ability to create scalable designs capable of supporting high workloads and large numbers of simultaneous users, processes and integrations
- Strong knowledge of master data management, data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and security best practices
- Fluent designing and working with various data types including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
- Ability to implement operational monitoring and alerting for all aspects of the system
- Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD, and DevOps practices in data environments
- Adept at designing highly scalable, distributed and fault tolerant data architectures ensuring full high availability and disaster recovery capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align technical solutions with business needs
- A strategic mindset with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and a drive to build future-proof systems
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve PartnerStack’s data architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals, scalability, and long-term sustainability
- Define and enforce data modeling standards and best practices across the organization
- Architect and implement data pipelines, integrations, and orchestration frameworks
- Lead the design of data governance frameworks, including data quality, lineage, cataloging, and access control policies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define data contracts, schemas, and APIs that ensure consistency and interoperability across systems
- Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance the data platform’s performance, reliability, and developer experience
- Provide architectural guidance on GenAI and ML initiatives, ensuring data readiness, scalability, and compliance
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Business teams) to translate business requirements into robust data solutions
- Lead architectural reviews, conduct design sessions, and mentor data engineers and analysts on architectural principles and best practices
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, standards, and system integrations to support transparency and knowledge sharing
