Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database management
• Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., SQL Server), data warehousing, and query optimization
• Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data quality tools
• Knowledge of security and privacy requirements for government data systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Must be able to work the hours of 8am-5pm Eastern Time regardless of your home location

Responsibilities

• Design and implement logical and physical data models to support current and future business requirements
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata standards, and data governance processes
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and federal stakeholders to ensure the system’s data architecture supports usability, performance, and reporting needs
• Support ETL processes, data integration, and migration activities
• Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and quality standards
• Analyze data flow and support enhancements to system APIs and backend data services
• Document architectural decisions and participate in technical design reviews
