Summary

Join Softrams, a Tria Federal company, as a Data Architect and contribute to the strategic planning and expansion of complex database systems. You will be responsible for designing, mapping, and maintaining these systems, ensuring they are accessible, useful, and secure. This role requires a strong understanding of key datasets and business rules within the FAS CASE community. Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation
  • Must reside in and be able to perform work in the United States
  • Must have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years
  • High school diploma required

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with clients, data users and key stakeholders and develop and achieve various long-term objectives for the short-term and long-term data architecture vision and plans
  • Develop key metrics for tests on data and ensure integrity of the same on data architecture and data sets across platforms
  • Prepare documents for data architecture and review committees, and once approved then implement a plan and then maintain knowledge on large data structures
  • Create and maintain the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), tools, and templates, use cases and documentation in support of the development of data integration and management strategies, to include but not limited to
  • Create the development and maintenance of data standards and processes of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), tools, and templates
  • Create the development of use cases
  • Create the development and maintenance of reporting tools and approaches
  • Create the development, implementation and communication of training approaches and guidance
  • Use Jira and Trello for Iteration Planning, User Stories, and Project Backlog

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent Communications skills
  • Comfortable with tools such as SNOW/JIRA/Confluence
  • Worked in a progressive helpdesk setup who can bring a fresh set of ideas for improvement while leading a large team with potential to scale the program
