Remote Data Architect, Azure/GCP

Summary

Join our team as a Senior contractor for a 5+ month remote assignment to spearhead the development of the client's platform, deploying and managing data architecture, optimizing data pipelines, and ensuring systems uphold data integrity and privacy regulations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with data engineering, cloud architecture, or working with data infrastructure
• Expertise in Azure cloud platform, especially Azure Data Factory is required
• Google Cloud Platform experience is required (Multi-Cloud implementation experience would be beneficial)
• Experience with building, monitoring and logging systems as part of data platforms is required
• Documenting a solution inclusive of architectures, pricing, and other technology design considerations
• Proficiency in Python programming language and SQL
• Experience with data modeling and schema design
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
