The role involves leading RFPs, structuring and executing EPC contracts, and ensuring alignment with project goals. You will also manage contract amendments and post-contract actions. This position is primarily focused on wind EPC contracts, with secondary involvement in equipment supply agreements. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in EPC procurement for utility-scale renewable energy wind projects
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with external parties
- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively, and concisely summarize complex ideas
- Strong quantitative skills
- Highly proficient in G-Suite, Excel, Slack, and other collaboration tools
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage EPC and equipment supply requests for proposals, with a strong focus on Wind EPC procurement
- Structure, negotiate, and execute EPC contracts for wind energy projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards, project timelines, and financial goals
- Engage and build/maintain relationships with key EPC contractors, wind turbine suppliers, and other critical vendors to support successful project execution
- Manage contract amendments and post-contract actions, including claims, performance monitoring, and warranty considerations specific to wind projects
- Coordinate with Development, Engineering, Construction, Project Finance, and Legal teams to ensure seamless execution of Wind EPC contracts
- This role will be primarily focused on Wind EPC contracts, with secondary involvement in equipment supply agreements
