Data Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline or equivalent work experience
• Strong software engineering skills
• At least 1 year of experience building data pipelines using Python, SQL, and other common data platform technologies
• Aptitude for learning new technologies and analytics techniques

Responsibilities

• Improve existing data pipelines (e.g., new fields, performance improvements, new data source integrations, etc.)
• Design new features for the Data Platform and improve scalability and reliability
• Provide operational support for the data platform to ensure all data is available within defined SLAs
• Collaborate with the Product team and other engineering teams to plan and execute projects
• Write quality code, create robust designs, and generate innovative ideas

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Java and/or Ruby
