Data Engineer

Summary

Join our multinational team as a Data Engineer and transform raw data into useful data systems. You will create algorithms, conduct statistical analysis, and align data systems with business goals. This role requires 4-8 years of experience, expertise in SQL, and hands-on experience with ETL tools. You will build data systems and pipelines, analyze data, and prepare data for modeling. The position is 100% remote in Mexico and offers a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension. Bilingualism (native Spanish and advanced English) is required.

Requirements

• General experience: 4-8 years of experience
• Expertise to write complex SQL queries
• Extensive hands-on experience with any ETL tool (Talend/Informatica/Datastage)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in developing data ingestion, data processing, and analytical pipelines for big data, relational databases, SQL, and data warehouse solutions
• Ability to analyze and organize raw data
• Build data systems and pipelines
• Evaluate business needs and objectives & conduct complex data analysis
• Preparing data for prescriptive and predictive modeling
• Combine raw information from different sources
• Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
• Proficiency in English language
