Data Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelors or Master’s in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or Math
• 6-10 years software development experience using the following technologies: Kubernetes, Python, SQL development
• Track record of implementing AWS / Azure services in a variety of distributed computing, enterprise environments
• Track record of working with Elastic Kubernetes Service ( EKS) or other container technology
• Strong knowledge of design patterns and good coding practices

Responsibilities

• Develop using technologies such as Kubernetes, Python, Spark, SQS, Elastic Search, PostgreSQL, Airflow, Redshift, Dremio etc
• Design data pipelines and transformations from various data sources of healthcare and medical data to support analytics initiatives throughout the Ciox Health ecosystem
• Work closely with the Agile teams by providing technical direction and support to by instituting Data Engineering best practices that ensures the development and delivery of high quality and high performance Data and Analytics Pipelines
• Work with Big Data and Machine Learning
• Liaison with Development Managers to help define the Development, Quality and Reliability of Data and Analytics Pipelines throughout the full SDLC
• Develop and implement strategies to translate business requirements and models into feasible and acceptable data warehouse designs to ensure that business needs are met
• Provides data consulting in support of business and information technology initiatives to educate cross functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Work experience in practicing NLP and Data Science
• Healthcare experience
• Kubernetes Certified Application Developer (CKAD)
