Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
• Experience using Python, Java, or similar language
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with Kafka, Pulsar, RabbitMQ, or similar
• Familiarity with Terraform, Pulumi, Crossplane, or similar
• Experienced in Cloud-based architectures (AWS / GCP)
• Experienced with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Understanding of distributed systems and data-intensive applications
• Understanding of analytical data warehouses
• Genuine interest in big data applications and their technology trends
• Communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams located in several countries with different cultures
• Professional English proficiency

Responsibilities

• Work closely to the development and data analysts team and understand the data needs both from a production and consumption points of view
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of a scalable and modern data infrastructure that is capable of tackling the project needs
• Account for systems consistency, reliability and scalability
• Support existing systems looking to enhance functionality, increase scale, and transform in new ways to meet our product demands
• Work in a collaborative and agile environment that prioritizes people over process and is laser-focused on productivity
• Take part in incident resolution and troubleshooting in production
• Take a proactive approach on keeping our stack up-to-date with the best-in-class industry practices
• Ensure successful deliveries, and promote long-term technical health
• Ensure a high bar on code and infra quality standards, making sure the team is proud of their work
• Advise for best industry practices and contribute to a consistent improvement of the team's standards
