Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience or familiarity with Google Cloud Platform
• Strong interest in data engineering, automation, and process improvement
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) for data extraction, manipulation and automation
• Understanding of data management concepts, along with familiarity with data integration tools and techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
• High attention to detail and commitment to continuous learning
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure to support data engineering processes, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability
• Develop and optimize automated data pipelines for efficient extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of structured and unstructured data into BigQuery
• Integrate data from various sources (APIs, databases, spreadsheets) into BigQuery and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through validation and quality checks
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize data workflows, proactively resolving issues to ensure continuous operation
• Document workflows, follow data regulations, and continuously improve processes by staying updated on new technologies
• Perform other tasks to support the overall goals and objectives of the team
