Requirements

  • Ability to determine a course of action based on guidelines and modifies processes and methods as required
  • Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
  • Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships to resolve mutual problems by collaborating on procedures or transactions
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of related experience or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

  • Establish database management systems, standards, guidelines, and quality assurance for deliverables, such as conceptual design, logical database, taxonomy, data storage and capacity planning, external data interface specification, data loading plan, data maintenance plan, and security policy
  • Perform conceptual design, capacity planning, interface specifications, data loading plan, maintenance, and security associated with data collection/organization
  • Use and review technical tools and programming that leverage artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big-data techniques to cleanse, organize and transform data and to maintain, defend and update data structures and integrity on an automated basis
  • Create and establish design standards and assurance processes for software, systems, and applications development to ensure compatibility and operability of data connections, flows, and storage requirements
  • Review internal and external business and product requirements for data operations and activity and suggest changes and upgrades to systems and storage to accommodate ongoing needs
  • Assist with user interface and business applications design; work with stakeholders to ensure database specifications, tables, and element attributes meet requirements
