Summary
Join Peek, a leading experiences booking platform, as a driven Analytics Engineer! You will play a crucial role in building a data-driven ecosystem, delivering accurate and timely data to both internal teams and customers. Leveraging GCP, DBT, Airflow, and other tools, you will transform data sources, design data pipelines, and create insightful reports and dashboards. This role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a data engineering role, with a focus on building data pipelines and modeling
- 2 or more years direct experience with dbt, airbyte, stitch, fivetran or similar
- 2 or more years of direct experience with SQL, Python, LookML and JSON
- 2 or more years of direct experience with Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar
- 2 or more years of direct experience with airflow
- Proficiency working with data warehouse technology like bigquery, redshift, snowflake, etc and postgres or mysql
- Proficiency with modeling data marts using star/snowflake/(de)normalized schemas
- 2 or more years direct experience working with GitHub
- English is our business language, and fluency is required
- Comfortable working remotely
Responsibilities
- Leverage the full capabilities of GCP, DBT, Airflow and the market of data pipeline products to transform varied and disparate data sources into performant, resilient, accurate and understandable datasets
- Design, develop, and own data pipelines and models that power internal analytics for product and business teams
- Drive the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources, develop relationships with production engineering teams to manage our data structures as source systems evolve
- Deliver data visualizations and dynamic reporting experiences
- Collaborate to solve problems
- Be able to adapt to this fast paced environment, where teams are growing, and priorities shift on a quarterly basis as we move into new markets
- Advocate for self care while managing a high workload
