Requirements

  • Extensive experience in database administration, optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Advanced expertise in relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Cassandra
  • Proficiency with tools such as pgAdmin, SQL Management Studio, Redis, and backup tools like AWS RDS Snapshot, Azure Backup, and Veeam
  • Experience in data modeling, replication, backups, and performance tuning
  • Ability to analyze query execution plans and optimize indexes
  • Experience in Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Alibaba)
  • Capability to identify and resolve complex issues, such as deadlocks and concurrency conflicts
  • Fluent English

Responsibilities

  • Installation, configuration, and administration of databases in On-Premise and Cloud environments
  • Configuration of high-availability environments, such as clusters and active/passive setups
  • Database performance optimization through server configuration tuning, query analysis, index definition, and troubleshooting issues like deadlocks
  • Monitoring and maintaining data security, including encryption tasks and compliance with security protocols
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining backup and recovery solutions to ensure business continuity
  • Management and optimization of relational and NoSQL databases to meet industry standards
  • Collaboration with development teams to perform performance analysis and ensure the efficiency of database-dependent applications
