Summary
Join RyzLabs as a Data Engineer to design, develop, and manage pipelines for the music industry, collaborating with cross-functional partners and reporting to the CTO.
Requirements
- 4+ years as a data engineer building out core, high-volume datasets and supporting engineers, data scientists and PMs who need to use that data
- Care about designing schemas to bridge messy data and long-term business goals
- Experience shipping scalable data solutions in the cloud (e.g AWS, GCP, Azure) across multiple data stores (e.g Snowflake, Postgres, S3)
- SQL expert able to write highly performant queries and leverage more advanced features like window functions, UDFs, etc
- Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Advanced knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, ECS, EMR
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy scalable, efficient systems for our music copyright platform
- Design and build large-scale distributed systems that can process massive amounts of external data and integrate it into products to meet client requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align technical strategies with business goals
- Develop features and improvements in a secure, well-tested, and performant manner
