Data Engineer

Summary

The job description is for a Data Engineer position that requires at least 5 years of experience in building Data Pipelines, working with Python, Java, SQL, public cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, or Azure), data warehouses, Airflow technology, relational and nosql databases, and external integrations. The position is full-time and remote in Canada.

Requirements

• Minimal 5 years hands-on experience on building Data Pipelines
• Minimal 5 years hands-on experience in Python, Java and SQL
• Used Python libraries like Pandas, Numpy, Scipy or matplotlib
• Significant experience with public cloud technologies GCP or AWS or Azure
• Hands on experience in working with data warehouses and large amount of data
• Experience with working in Airflow technology to build workflows
• Experience with relational and nosql databases
• Experience building external integrations and mapping data from one service in to another
